Systems Create Freedom

The past few videos have been very much about systems and the efficiency of the system. Now what I want to share with you is why this is so important. You see, business owners probably are good at one thing, usually decide to do that thing for  themselves because they want more freedom, or they feel like they deserve it. And then they do something really great. They go out into the marketplace and have a crack. And they work very hard and if they survive--like some do and unfortunately, some don’t--they get to a point where they own a business.

But more often than not, as much as they own the business, the business kind of owns them as well. So they never really achieve that freedom. Now I'm a firm believer--and as a man who owns a few businesses now that are fully automated--that business is not something that has to own you. Business is something that you can create, systemise to give you the freedom to live the life you want. And simply put, when you treat your business like a business, it gives you the ability to build a vehicle, a system, a structure that allows you to live your life the way you want, and the key to this, the glue that holds this together, is systems. It’s the structured, strategic approach to growing your business.

Because you know how to grow your business, you know how it works, the structure and the system is the vehicle that you allow your staff to drive and subsequently get you where you want to be in your life. So let go of the steering wheel, teach someone else to drive and go where you want to. It is a really cool thing to be able to be part of this as well, seeing people build something that they love and then have the ability to go where they want with it. So, if you want to see how that works just give me a call. I would love to see if I could help. It’s kind of my jam. Speak soon.
